Many of the foods you eat are already gluten free such as meat, nuts, vegetables, fruits and milk.
Ways to keep Gluten out of your body:
Many of us ingest gluten everyday in grains such as rye, barley, and wheat. Read labels carefully; gluten can be in products under different names such as modified food starch, monosodium glutamate, natural and artificial flavorings just to name a few. Additionally, many foods that don’t contain gluten, like nuts and beans, etc. may be processed in manufacturing plants that process gluten, and may be contaminated with gluten.
Read the labels on your personal products as well.
Makeup, lotions, body wash, and other personal care products can have gluten in them. In personal care products, gluten may be labeled as: wheat germ extract, hydrolyzed wheat protein, and colloidal oatmeal just to name a few. There are over 30 ingredients to look for in cosmetics such as lipstick, skin creams, mascaras & products with vitamin E.
Confusion
Eating gluten free can be confusing. For example all grains contain gluten, including corn even though its considered safe in a traditional gluten free diet. Some cornbread mixes contain wheat flour, as well as some corn tortillas. Think you can eat Chinese food safely? Nope, look out for hidden gluten sources like soy and Teriyaki sauce. Would you have ever thought they contained gluten?

Gluten is a type of plant protein whose perfect source is the wheat and rye often presented in grains and can be found in bread, beer, cereal etc. serving our body more nutritional benefits. It provides the body with all of the function a proper plant protein would do.
However, a constant intake of any nutrient or element will definitely lead you to various discoveries and that is no different with the intake of gluten. When our body can no longer tolerate the gluten found in wheat anymore, this pose a threat of gluten intolerance also knowns as celiac disease, sprue or gluten sensitivity enteropathy.
Gluten intolerance is an autoimmune disease which is likely to cause damage to the digestive system.
It is simply a wheat disorder which tends to show abnormal function of the body system once gluten is digested.
However, this type of disease has been found less disturbing as statistics shows that only about 1% of the world’s population suffer from such ailment and those affected have not been known to be properly diagnosed. Gluten intolerance such as any other disease poses health risk and present varying signs and symptoms for early detection.
Common signs of gluten intolerance
Once you notice such signs in your body system after ingestion of wheat or rye, you are likely suffering from gluten intolerance and need to immediately arrest the situation. These signs include:
Bloating
A common condition which leaves you feeling you have a swollen stomach full of gas after a meal. However, bloating is commonly associated with varying type of disease but study shows that about 87% cases of gluten intolerance introduces bloating as a major symptom. Are you feeling bloated, look out for more signs as stated below to be sure if you are gluten sensitive.
Migraines or headaches
Stress and other related feeling of anxiety or much more can pose a threat of developing migraines and provided headache as you go about your daily activity, however, when these symptoms become a constant threat with no practical source there need to be a thorough check on the system. This could be sending a message of being affected with gluten intolerance.
Constipation
Gluten intolerance is strictly a disorder whose target system is the digestive system leaving this article incomplete I’d constipation is not discussed. Once the digestive tract is not functioning properly, there is a high tendency of suffering from constipation.
Fatigue
Feeling tired is normal after observing a great work time but incessant fatigue for no just cause is rare and abnormal sending a message to the brain that there must be a problem somewhere. Occasional experience of fatigue even when you engage in no duty of such is a clear indication that you are suffering from celiac disease and must be followed sequentially.
Skin Blisters
A blister on your skin – a condition known as dermatitis herpetiformis is one of the leading symptoms you could easily detect when intolerant to gluten. Development of other skin disease such as psoriasis and chronic uticara are also a clear indication of gluten sensitivity enteropathy.
Autoimmune diseases
A great number of developing autoimmune disease is directly or indirectly linked to celiac disease. There are varying types of autoimmune disease and since this is a case which affects autoimmunity, when these disease starts popping up you should never be far from the truth.
Abdominal pain
Abdominal pain is one symptom we should never overlook. Once our digestive system is not in good working everything around the tummy area becomes abnormal. Minor to sever and more chronic abdominal pain gives an insight to what we are suffering from.
Hormonal imbalance
This has become a major case amongst the female gender. Gluten intolerance has been linked to most hormone imbalances.
